Forty-eight inches across — exceptionally broad for an eight-foot top.
One continuous piece of Saman, monkeypod, cut natural edge to natural edge. Golden through chocolate, with dark mineral streaking where the heartwood ran. An open check runs off the pith and the live edge is heavily burled and bark-lined; both are natural to the tree and were lacquered as they are.
