Platinum Luxury Teak began the way the best things do — with two brothers who fell in love with Ecuador. Its forests, its craftsmanship, and the quiet beauty of wood that's been growing for generations.

One of us lives in Ecuador, on the ground, building direct relationships with plantation suppliers and hand-selecting every slab and board at the source. The other runs logistics here in Chicago — the freight, the import, the delivery. Between us, we built something rare: a direct line from an Ecuadorian plantation to your home, with no middlemen, no guesswork, and nothing lost in translation.

Why "in stock in Chicago" actually means something

Most sellers of live-edge tables and fine teak quote you three to six weeks — because their inventory is still overseas. Ours isn't. Every slab and every board foot lives in our Lincolnwood warehouse, right now. That's not a marketing line; it's the whole reason we built the business around import and logistics first. We can deliver this week because the wood is already here.

Legal, documented, and one-of-a-kind

Every piece we sell is legally imported, plantation-grown Ecuadorian teak — CBP-entered, duty-paid. With Burmese teak sanctioned and unavailable in the U.S., legally documented plantation teak has become genuinely scarce. We're proud to offer it, fully above board, with the paperwork to prove it.

And every table is a single slab — one tree, one top, one of one. No two are alike. When you buy a slab from us, you're buying the exact piece you saw, with all its character, grain, and history intact.

What we source

Today it's live-edge Saman tables and Ecuadorian plantation teak. But our roots run deeper into everything Ecuador does beautifully — and over time, we plan to bring more of it directly to you.
